GOYARD

Ahh the elusive chevron design signals immediately a Goyard is in your presence.  As seen above, Hilary Duff is carrying the bag I pine for night and day, day and night: the Goyard 'St Louis' tote. Similar to Louis Vuitton, Goyard began as a luggage and trunk manufacturer:http://www.goyard.com/goyard.html
The link above will take you directly to the Goyard site so that you can all educate yourselves about this superior company.  Getting the St Louis tote would be like winning an olympic gold medal for me, I no I sound a bit dramatic but it's the truth.  The bag comes in a variety of colors and retails for roughly $1000.  I know that's a lot of money, but like my 5 Louis Vuitton bags, will never NEVER go out of style.  You can also get it personally monogrammed, to make it TRULY UNIQUE!  Goyard also makes other luggage and travel bags, as does Louis Vuitton, but to me, my life would be complete with my 'St Louis' tote.  Any suggestions for whuch color I should get, when I save up enough (aka when hell freezes over)??  Please I need your thought and comments!

Michael Kors not just a judge on Project Runway

http://www.michaelkors.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=prod9990140&parentId=cat3003&masterId=cat8501&index=110&cmCat=cat000000cat8501cat3003
Okay, everyone this is very VERY important, the link above will take you to the bag I will have, oh yes it will be mine, even if I have to sell an organ...jk sorta :). The Michael Michael Kors 'Hamilton Spectator Tote' in navy. I've never really been that into the whole nautical trend but this bag is just calling out to me. First of all, I don't own any navy bags so obviously I NEED one and this one won't break the bank, retailing @ a mere $328. Okay it wouldn't break the bank for people with a steady income and what's that other thing...oh yeah a job! I'm working on it, but I accept donations in the form of check or money order, ok now I'm REALLY kidding, unless of course u r feeling extra charitable:). The Hamilton tote is so popular in general, believe me I saw a lot of them sold while working @ Macys over the holidays, but this bag is practically saying "Steph" "Steph" each time I walk in the Michael Kors store at the mall, which I kid you not is at least 3 times a day. The sales people probably hate me bc I pine over the bag, but then inform them I have no money and I get the "I'm not wasting my time on you" look. But one day it will be mine. In the words of Ferris Bueller, it is so "choice," granted it's not a ferrari but still I think that sums it up best. So friends (I always feel like Suze Orman when I address people in that manner, but I do love her and she grounds me back to reality. Well I'm off to visit my bag and if anyone cares, there's also a matching doggie carrier & lease, that's not really my thing, in fact I even took back my Marc Jacobs/murikami speedy 30 of a few seasons agog because of the perforation & was sick of people asking me if it was a dog carrier, not that it didn't love it I just opted for the mini Lin speedy 30 instead. Okay, well I'm officially rambling so I'm going to end here. Please follow me!!! I'm awesome haha

Brights

Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday followers (aka mom & dad) but I had a busy one!! Even though it is technically spring here in MD, i think they're calling for snow flurries tomorrow...WTF? Anyway, to warm us all up I'm taking a page from Rachel Zoe's blog (everyone should get her daily emails they r wonderful) & thinking BRIGHT colors, two of my faves are orange/coral & turquoise!!! In fact I was in Nordstrom Rack just yesterday (shocking I know) & saw two great bags in just these to great colors: 1)a Kate Spade bag: the 'stevie' in coral and 2) a B. Mahowsky 'Melissa shopper' in Aruba blue. Both significantly marked down!! I took pictures of myself modeling them but for some reason can not figure out how to add pictures to my blog from iPhone as I just got rid of my archaic iBook g4 though it was a great computer...anyway, I'll post these pictures on my Facebook page so y'all can get a visual reference. I think that's all for now friends and be sure to refer to my facebook page for visuals!! Ta ta a domani...

Furla: a hidden gem

First of all, I lived in Florence for four months during my junior year of college and the most exciting part for me was Prada. There was actually an instance when I ran into the Prada Uomo store bc I saw Prada and couldn't contain my excitement. Yes, I would browse thru the Furla store, but italia was the Prada homeland or so I thought @ the time. Recently, I've become increasingly fascinated by Furla, and let me make a public apology to the brand for thinking it inferior to Prada. Right now I'm actually sitting in Nordstrom (told you I'm here a lot) coveting Furla. Unfortunately, I don't see the bag I saw on Nordstrom.com in store. Here's the link: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/furla-blossom-l-leather-hobo/3134009?origin=category&resultback=0
The Furla 'Blossom l' leather hobo, I personally prefer the acai-blue color & right now it's 33% off people!!! Get it while you can!! And be sure to check out Furla's website:

Nordstrom's cool new chic less expensive accessory/handbag section 2nd floor between escalators

Okay, I live in Towson & in walking distance to Nordstrom aka my second home. So just recently they started this new hip section with all sorts of cool must-have accessories and handbags. I'm talking House of Harlow jewelry (Nicole Richie is one of my personal heroes and my fave is the giant star ring) and Big Buddha handbags which are not only vegan but stylish. I'm not talking about bags u see crunchy granola Birkenstock-wearing people carrying (no offense to them) but really stylish, under $100 bags. Let's just say I own 2: the Arlene & Melissa & I get complemented on them all the time. Check out bigbuddha.com for a wide range of different styles. Back to Nordies, so I walk through this section at least once a day because I am right now coveting the 'jamie' bag, I'm thinking maybe yellow, and the 'jackie' in turquoise. See, though I consider myself a handbag snob, style does not always have to break the bank! Okay, this was my first blogging attempt so I hope u glitterati enjoyed. Stay tuned for my new obsession: Furla...
